Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, pairing an Orb, or using OraOrb, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy, AI Disclaimer, and Data Use Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

OraOrb is intended for people age 18 and older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 and able to enter into these Terms.

3. The Service

OraOrb is an AI conversation companion delivered through a physical Orb and an iPhone companion app. The app supports account access, device setup, saved history, and privacy information. The Orb provides voice interaction with Ora. Features may change as the product evolves.

4. Your account

You sign in using an email address and one-time verification code. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email account associated with OraOrb and for activity that occurs through your account. Do not share verification codes or allow another person to use your account without authorization.

Provide accurate information and keep it reasonably current. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. The Orb device

Certain OraOrb features require a compatible Orb, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and an internet connection. Performance may depend on your network, device firmware, and third-party services. Hardware purchases, shipping, returns, and warranties may be governed by separate purchase terms when offered.

6. AI-generated content

Ora is an artificial-intelligence system, not a human. Responses are generated probabilistically and may be incorrect, incomplete, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your circumstances. You are responsible for evaluating and deciding whether to act on any response.

OraOrb is not a medical, mental-health, legal, financial, educational, or emergency service. Do not rely on OraOrb for diagnosis, treatment, crisis support, legal rights, financial decisions, or other decisions that require a qualified professional.

7. Symbolic experiences

Some optional features use astrology, tarot, dream interpretation, or other symbolic formats. These experiences are for entertainment, reflection, and creative exploration. They do not predict the future, establish facts, or guarantee an outcome.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including your speech, text, and profile information. You grant ROLENEO LLC a limited, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, reproduce, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve OraOrb.

Do not submit content you do not have the right to use. Avoid sharing another person’s sensitive information unless you have permission and a legitimate reason.

9. Acceptable use

You may not use OraOrb to:

• Break the law, violate another person’s rights, or facilitate harm.
• Harass, exploit, impersonate, or deceive another person.
• Generate or distribute child sexual abuse material or other illegal sexual content.
• Attempt to bypass safety systems, access another user’s account, or probe non-public systems.
• Interfere with the Service, distribute malware, automate abusive traffic, or reverse engineer protected components except where law expressly permits.
• Represent AI output as verified professional advice or guaranteed prediction.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, which service providers process it, and how to request deletion. Because OraOrb uses third-party AI and speech services, personal information and user content may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and China.

11. Availability and changes

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features. We do not promise that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every network or device. Planned maintenance, provider outages, security events, or product changes may affect access.

12. Third-party services

OraOrb relies on third-party providers for speech recognition, AI model access, speech synthesis, chart calculations, authentication, hosting, analytics, crash diagnostics, and email delivery. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies, and their availability is outside our control.

13. Intellectual property

OraOrb, RoleAge, Ora, the Orb design, software, visual assets, character designs, interfaces, and related content are owned by ROLENEO LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

14. Termination and deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account deletion in the app or through our web deletion page. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or maintain security.

Account deletion is intended to be irreversible. Retention after deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” ROLENEO LLC disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ROLENEO LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, opportunities, or expected outcomes arising from use of or inability to use OraOrb.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

17. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, where permitted by law.
